How do I enable IgniteAI Study Tools as an Instructor?

IgniteAI Study Tools is included with Canvas Next.

IgniteAI Study Tools allow students to generate personalized study materials such as summaries, quizzes, and flash cards directly from course files and pages. Instructors can manage student access by enabling the desired IgniteAI Study Tools feature options.

Notes:

IgniteAI Study Tools must be turned on at the account level by an account admin.
You do not have to turn on the IgniteAI Agent to access Study Tools.

Open Settings

In Course Navigation, click the Settings link.

Open Feature Options

In Course Details, click the Feature Options tab.

Enable Study Tools

If your admin has enabled this feature, locate the IgniteAI Study Tools feature options. To view feature information, click the feature drop-down menu [1]. To turn on a Study Tools feature option, click the Feature State icon [2] and select the Enabled option [3].

Your students can now use IgniteAI the Study Tools feature.
