How do I view student peer review comments and rubrics using Peer Review Allocation and Grading as an instructor?

As an instructor, you can view peer review comments and rubric assessments left by students on each other's submissions. Peer reviews can be accessed two ways: through the Assignments page or the Grades page. Both options open the submission in SpeedGrader.

From the Assignments page, you can access a student's submission to view all peer feedback left on their work, including reviewer comments and rubric ratings. From the Grades page, you can access a reviewer to see the feedback they left on other students' submissions.

Access Peer Reviews Via Assignments

Use the Assignments page to access the peer review assignment and view all peer feedback left on a student's submission.

Open Assignments

In Course Navigation, click the Assignments link.

Click the name of the peer review submission assignment.

Open SpeedGrader

Select Student Assignment

In SpeedGrader, click the name of the student whose assignment you want to review peer feedback for.

View Peer Review Comments

In the submission assignment you can view peer reviewer comments in the Comments for this Attempt section. Each comment includes the name of the reviewer and the date and time they made the comment.

View Rubric

If a rubric was added to the assignment, you can view the reviewer's comments and ratings. To switch between reviews, select another name from the drop-down menu. To switch between reviews, select another name from drop-down menu.

Access Peer Reviews Via Grades

Use the Grades page to access a reviewer's peer review sub-assignment and view the feedback they left on other students' submissions.

Open Assignments

In Course Navigation, click the Assignments link.

Locate Peer Reviewed Assignment

Click the assignment Options icon [1]. Then click the SpeedGrader link [2].

Select Reviewer

In SpeedGrader, click the name of the student whose submitted peer reviews you want to view.

View Submitted Peer Reviewed Comments

In the reviewer assignment, you can view the comments the student left in the Peer Review Comments section. Each comment includes the reviewer's name, the name of the student they reviewed, and the date the comment was made.

View Rubric Comments

If a rubric was added to the assignment, you can view the reviewer's comments and ratings. To move between peer reviews, click the navigation arrows.
