Canvas Lite provides individual educators with many of the most-used Canvas features. Here's how it compares to Canvas Core:
- Educators manage their own courses independently, without administrator visibility or control (see table above for Administrator visibility and control).
- Supports up to five published courses at any given time, with up to 50 learners per course.
- Includes 500 MB of storage.
- Doesn't include IgniteAI features.
- Doesn't include attendance tracking, course engagement analytics, or API access for integrations.
- Uses Self-Serve Guides for troubleshooting rather than Instructure support agents.
- Includes New Quizzes only, not Classic Quizzes
