Parchment Digital Badges has partnered with Zapier, which means that users now have many new options for automating badging. The basic idea behind Zapier is that one action triggers another.
When you first connect with Parchment Digital Badges on the Zapier site, you will be prompted to select either Parchment Badges US, Parchment Badges EU, Parchment Badges AU, or Parchment Badges CA.
Set up Trigger
Choose the application from which you want a badge award triggered [1]. Click the Continue button [2].
Enter Email Address
Enter the email address or login associated with the app from which you are triggering the Zap.

Set up Details of Badge Award

Select Issuers
You'll be able to select any of the issuers associated with your account, and then, any of the badges associated with that issuer.
In the Recipient field, you'll indicate where the tool will be able to locate the badge recipient in the other connected app. From there, you can personalize the nature of the badge like you would if awarding the badge on Parchment Badges.
