How do I filter the data results in Accessibility Analytics?

Intelligent Insights is a legacy add-on product. Its advanced analytics are available in Canvas Plus and Canvas Next and its AI-powered Insights (IgniteAI Ask Your Data) are available in Canvas Next.

Accessibility Analytics gives you a detailed view of accessibility data across your courses, but the full dataset isn't always what you need. Filters help you narrow the results so you can focus on the specific courses, terms, instructors, or accessibility issues that matter for your work.

Available filters let you refine results by sub-account, term, course status, and course format, set custom thresholds for what counts as course or student activity, and target specific accessibility issues by severity, name, or scan date. You can also adjust date ranges, switch between weekly and monthly trend views, and apply, display, or clear your selections as needed.

How do I filter the data results in Accessibility Analytics?

1. Open Filters

On the Accessibility Analytics page, click the Filter button.

2. Filter Options

You can filter by the following:

Courses with no enrollments
Sub-account
Term
Courses
Teacher

3. Course Status

You can filter CourseStatus by the following:

Concluded with Activity
Concluded without Activity
Published with Activity
Published without Activity
Deleted
Unpublished

4. Course Format

You can filter CourseFormat by the following:

Not set
On Campus
Online
Blended

5. Date Granularity

You can filter DateGranularity by view trends by week or view trends by month.

6. Course Start Date

To filter by CourseStartDate, select the from and to date ranges.

7. Course Activity Criteria

To define a CoursewithActivity, select a minimum value for each of the following categories:

Enrolled students with at least one page view
Enrolled Instructors
Course Participations
Course Pageviews

8. Student Activity Criteria

To define a Student with Activity, select a value for each of the following StudentActivityCriteria categories:

Participations
Pageviews
Days since last access

9. Accessibility

To define accessibility criteria, select the IssueSeverityLevel, IssueName, and LatestAccessibilityScan.

10. Apply Filters

Click the ApplyFilters button.

11. Show Filter Details

To display filters, click the ShowFilterDetails link.

12. Clear Filters

To clear filters, click the ClearFilters link.
