I'm trying to use the Canvas speedgrader, but when I open it up the comments section is taking up the whole page as shown in the screenshot below. It seems like the pdf is behind the grading screen. Before it used to be split up where half the page would be the pdf submission and the other half would be the section in the screenshot. This just started happening today. I've tried clearing browser caches and trying a different browser but the issue persists. I don't remember changing any settings from before and there are no filters applied to the gradebook. I also can't drag and resize the page below, and when I try and click on the pdf behind the screen it does not come to the front. Anyone know how to resolve this?
Same issue from one of our instructors. She's using Safari on her Mac laptop. She only has the comments panel and can't see the submissions no matter what assignment she opens. The grey divider that you click/drag to expand or resize the panels is gone. It works fine on her desktop. We haven't been able to duplicate the issue yet, but I'm not sure what to advise. We confirmed that she's not zoomed in, we resized the window, refreshed the page, refreshed the cache.
One of our professors just reported the same problem: when going to SpeedGrader, the entire page is the grading comments panel and there is no bar to resize. This was on her older Mac desktop (unsure of OS version) using an older version of Safari (15.x instead of the current 18.4). The SpeedGrader loaded fine, however, when I had her switch to Chrome on the same machine. That was enough of a workaround for her to be satisfied, but I suggested she see if a newer version of Safari is compatible with her device to avoid any future issues. Hopefully this helps anyone else with this issue!

Hi all, When uploading a SCORM package and outputting as an assignment, full screen works within the package. However when outputted as a page, it doesn't. Anyone found a getaround that isn't "just use the assignment option??"
Our institution is setting up 9 institutional outcomes in Canvas. Several of our outcomes have multiple skill sets within the rubric. For example: Critical Reading – Skill Set A Critical Reading – Skill Set B Critical Reading – Skill Set C Our understanding is that Canvas Outcomes data reports can provide the overall/total…
I am just curiousas to why there is not a field to enter a description for an outcome at the account level? Or at least edit the rating when you attach/link an account level outcome to a rubric. When you create a new criterion for a rubric, you enter a decription for a rating, but for an account level outcome.
We use a pre- post- model to measure learning which requires student-question matching from two time periods. This requires exporting quiz data to CSV to do the analysis properly. (I can get into more detail if needed.) The New Quizzes Student Analysis CSV export has repeated blocks of ItemID then columns related to that…
