From the Inbox - I do not see a way to include an accessible link. For example - clicking on the word YouTube(which contains the link) versus https://www.youtube.com/
Not sure how to submit this as a function, but it would be useful if there were levels of Lateness and the ability to not that in Attendance. 5 minutes late has a different impact on a students attendance than being an hour late! Also when I student leaves class early, I would like to be able to note that as well. Thanks.
We are using the Learning Mastery Gradebook with an rubric on account-level. When we enter the gradebook, the sorting does not make any sense. How can we make the sorting so it makes sense to us. It feels like a randam sorting.
I wanted to get a sense of how others are feeling about the change to the Beta refresh schedule moving from weekly to every 21 days. I’ll be honest, this feels like a pretty short-sighted shift. The weekly refresh is what makes Beta useful for us. It gives us a recent snapshot of production data that we can rely on for…
No one becomes an educator for the opportunity to partake in the Sunday night grading marathon. While feedback is the core of the learning process, the administrative overhead of manual grading can crowd out the actual time spent focused on lesson planning, lecture prep, or hands-on instruction. IgniteAI offers several…
I'm an admin in our university's Canvas environment and this question has been posed by a couple of our instructors. They're using Differentiation Tags and/or Groups in various courses and need to verify functionality for students via the "View as Student" feature. However, the way this feature works, there isn't an actual…
Hi, we have noticed some changes in the way Canva docs or files are able to be embedded live. Canva is integrated via LTI 1.3 in our Canvas Has Canvas recently changed how it handles unauthenticated external iframe embeds, specifically for tools like Canva? Are public Canva embed iframes (canva.com/design/.../view?embed)…
HTML lists have a sensible default, where the list numbering or bullet style changes as you indent. This is a crucial visual cue to help you understand which level of indention a list item belongs to. For example, an ordered list typically uses numbers for the first level, letters for the second level, etc. Not only is…
How do I create a list of assignments and score received by each student in my course in canvas? This will let student know where they stand in terms of course grade.
A colleague asked me how to reuse the questions from the 14 quizzes he has already created as a large question pool to draw questions from for a cumulative exam. Each of the 14 quizzes has multiple question groups, and none of them was linked to a question bank at the time of creation. The best thing I could find is the…
Hello, In the past, changing participation dates in the course settings effectively acted as an override on the term access settings. Unless I'm missing something, that no longer seems to be the case. Even if course participation is changed from term to course, it is the term access dates that dictate access within the…
Canvas deploys contain code changes that are intended to fix bugs, improve performance, and prepare for new features. These deploys take place every two weeks and can be tested in the beta environment before the production deploy date indicated in the title of this document. [info callout] Unless otherwise stated, all…
