We have been tasked with removing all old and duplicate assignments, pages, and modules from our Master classes before the end of the school year (in 6 days!). Is there an easier way to do this other than scrolling through each of these independently one by one? It seems like there should be a utility that can at least…
Hi! It was reported to me by a teacher using our common cartridge files that have an embedded libsyn player that Canvas is automatically stripping the embed code, making the player invisible and unusable for both teachers and students. Similar to the post entitled "YouTube Videos are gone" when I tested copy/pasting the…
My classes all had such a nice Bouba aesthetic, but now they've gone all KiKi… not to mention messing up a bunch of subtle visual formatting and layout. Is this a documented change? The border-radius property hasn't been removed from the allow-list… Why such an arbitrary change to such a trivial/cosmetic feature? Not to…
Today I got emails from students asking me where my videos have gone. As it turns out, Canvas stripped the IFRAMEs which used to embed a Youtube video, of the SRC-element. Now all I get is empty IFRAMEs. ('<iframe width="560" height="314" loading="lazy" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe>') I only checked about 10…
As of the last week or so, the Rich Content Editor is stripping border-radius from inline styles whenever a page is saved. Pages built earlier still have it (so it's not the stored content), but the moment a page is saved through the editor, every border-radius is removed from the HTML. This looks like a regression,…

These deploys take place every two weeks and can be tested in the beta environment before the production deploy date indicated in the title of this document. In the Canvas release Notes, it indicates that an "Add a Link" button has been added in the bottom of the Navigation Menu. It's not there.
I'm trying to use the Enhanced Rubrics import feature, but I'm struggling to find documentation on the expected CSV format. The guide states: "To avoid import errors, make sure the format aligns with the rubric (i.e., criterion name, rating name, and corresponding points)." However, this doesn't provide enough detail for…
In Speedgrader, instructors need to scroll back to the top after selecting points in a rubric to view the rubric score. Is there a way to have the total points selected appear next to the Submit button so it is easy to find without having to scroll up and down in Speedgrader? Thank you!
Would you be able to move the Submit Assessment Button in SpeedGrader (traditional view) back to the far left? It will save teachers time. Teachers won't have to scroll to the right in the rubric to hit the Submit Assessment Button. Thank you.
Hello Canvas Community! 👋 If you’ve ever spent hours tweaking HTML just to get a simple card grid or accordion to look right in the Rich Content Editor, I have something exciting to share with you. I recently developed Canvas Designer, a browser extension that acts as a visual builder right inside Canvas LMS. It's designed…
In the future will there be a built in interactive quiz maker to make a quiz more fund and more interactive elements (like having a quiz as a game. Currently I have to use external software or other quiz makers and it would be useful if we could have something in Canvas as this would meet our different learner needs in the…
