SpeedGrader Issue: Unecessary scrolling to locate rubric score

In Speedgrader, instructors need to scroll back to the top after selecting points in a rubric to view the rubric score. Is there a way to have the total points selected appear next to the Submit button so it is easy to find without having to scroll up and down in Speedgrader?

The whole rubric marking process is pretty messy. In traditional view, the "rows" are so long that you can only use them effectively if you resize the speedgrader to take up most of your screen, meaning you can't easily view contents of submitted documents at the same time. We use a lot of "binary" assessments (Satisfactory / Not satisfactory) and they look like this… those boxes should be SOOOO much narrower…

I agree @DeonScanlon! It would be nice if the table were more responsive to the width of the SpeedGrader window. I like the additional views that the enhanced rubrics offer that streamline the rubric interface in SpeedGrader but many instructors prefer the table layout.

The horizontal and vertical options are a nice idea, but both of them fail to hit the mark as they are spaced out too much, and so require too much scrolling. The classic table view compresses things so you can see and do more at a time, but suffers from poor width management. The numeric buttons also don't make sense when you have unscored rubrics, yet they still appear… I really should find the right place to put this feedback!

@DeonScanlon - All of this! Yes! Even with scored rubrics, the 3, 2, 1, 0 numbering is confusing for many instructors who have criteria that are worth more than 3 points each.

Came for the same feedback. One of very few(!) frustrations with the product.

— At the top of the page while focus is at the bottom.
Grading down the rubric and the total is accumulating and updating at the top of the page.

— At the bottom of the page while focus is at the top.
Submit the assessment and return to the top of the page to enter the score, but now it's at the bottom of the page.

Shouldn't be difficult to add the component to both places on the page, or reverse the logic? (Please!)
