Self-Enrollment and Populi Sync

Question

Hi,

My school uses Canvas LMS for students to submit assignments, view course content, etc.; we then use Populi for student records. We also utilize the Canvas-to-Populi grade sync feature.

If we set up a Canvas course so that students can self-enroll, is there a way for their enrollment to automatically sync to the Populi side of the course?

@TBaggenstos Welcome! Normally this isn't possible. Enrollments only flow one way (SIS to Canvas) and Grades only flow one way (Canvas to SIS). There's good reasons why you wouldn't want these flows to be bi-directional.

That being said, I would consult with your SIS to see if it's possible. I'm not familiar with Populi itself.
