Since I'm an admin, would my experience differ from that of faculty team members? I'm asking to confirm whether it's necessary to have someone without an admin role test the associate course.
@Edith2023 Could you clarify what you're trying to test in regards to blueprints as an admin?
First, thank you for your response. While continually testing Blueprint, I found a more serious question: I assigned two associated courses — Child A and Child B. I tested deleting all course content from Child A through the Settings (Child B remained unchanged). The content in Child A was completely removed. Then, I used Bp Manager to try to re-associate and submit Child A. However, I couldn't submit; the submit button was disabled. But when I unchecked Child B and kept only Child A selected, the submit button became active, and Child A was restored.
My question is: (1) Why does this happen? Bp should allow associating multiple courses at the same time. But in this case, it seems i can only resubmit when selecting one child course.
(2) What the purpose for Bp if the associated course is able to delete all the content from Bp regardless locked or unlocked items.
Thank you for your time.
Hi everyone, It looks like the multiple rubric idea has bounced around a bit with the different feature request methodologies over the years, including a mention in New & Next 2024 according to this post, interviews in the enhanced rubrics features group, being listed as "under consideration" on the new roadmap, and this…
I recently had an exam provided as a Canvas Quiz in my class, and used some questions copied from question banks from other sections and prior years of the course. Some of those questions had "General Answer Comment" text already saved in them. I changed that text in several questions as I updated/changed the questions.…
I would like to suggest improvements to how collaborations function within Canvas LMS. Currently, collaborations are somewhat limited in how they can be accessed and integrated into course content. One potential improvement would be allowing collaborations to be directly linkable within Pages and Modules. This would make…
We are using the Learning Mastery Gradebook with an rubric on account-level. When we enter the gradebook, the sorting does not make any sense. How can we make the sorting so it makes sense to us. It feels like a randam sorting.
Can Canvas please create the option to use a "total points" system such that both the gradebook and the student grades page can show accumulated total points, not as a fraction of total points earned/total points possible? This would be SO helpful for progress tracking in a self-paced course where I do not want 0s entered…
