I'm retiring from my college this month, but I still want access to my material. How does that work?
You can make a Free For Teachers account and move your content there.
Note that FFT does not support some features, such as New Quizzes, and any LTI that your institution paid for.

Hi @bbelroy ...
I'll just add to what @Gabriel33 wrote... you might want to check out the PDF comparison chart linked on Canvas Free-for-Teacher FAQ because there are some differences between a paid Canvas environment and a Free For Teacher account.
Hi @bbelroy ,
In addition to the information provided to you by @Chris_Hofer and @Gabriel33 , I wanted to add on. You are able to download your course content via your course settings by clicking on the 'Export Course Content' button on the right-hand side of the page. You can also share your course to Canvas Commons, however please take note that if you do move over to free for teacher, you can only access publicly shared resources, so you would have to share your course publicly from your existing institution's canvas commons. If your institution does not have Canvas Commons enabled, your only option is to export your course from your course's settings, as mentioned before.
I hope that helps, too!Noah

Among all the things that I wish Canvas had is that one! Is it something that is been worked on? We had it in Blackboard (legacy) and I sorely miss and need in Canvas (we just transitioned to it from Bb). Please add this very needed feature!
I have Canvas set to drop the lowest quiz score, however, my students can only barely tell that the grade text is slightly grey when dropped. Can it have a tag like the "missing" and "exempt" ones in the student gradebook?
My Canvas shell has three different sections that all meet at different times throughout the week. I need to be able to batch edit assignment due dates by section, but right now Canvas can't filter by section for batch edit. My only option is now to manually (tediously) edit due dates for each assignment individually.
Morning! One of the more frustrating aspects of Canvas are groups and the issues that show up when copying courses that have them. But now we have yet another issue. Most recently we have had instances where people mark an assignment/discussion as a group assignment but then do not link the discussion or assignment to any…
