Grade book status "Credit"

I would like the grade book to have a status "Credit" in addition to none, late and missing. It would be helpful for students that have IEP's and 504 accommodations.  I would like to acknowledge that the student completed the assignment to the best of their ability, but not a traditional grade.

Hi @koonc,

If you're using a school/institution Canvas instance (not the free-for-teacher one), it' actually something your school/institution Canvas team can set up.  The How do I manage gradebook statuses in an account? - Instructure Community - 584834 guide shows the steps an administrator can take to add up to three custom grade statuses.
