How do I locate a student's ID, since "People" is no longer an option?

Did your school/institution remove the people too, or the display of the student ID within the tool? From a global perspective, Canvas hasn't changed anything in those areas recently that I know of. If you're a teacher, you may have access to your school's student information system (SIS), which would usually be the source of truth for a student id, but we don't really have a way to know about your specific school/institution options as members of the Instructure Community here. I'd definitely suggest asking someone at your school/institution, most likely in the IT or registration department, about this to get more exact advice with the systems and permissions set up there.
