Meta Muse Blocked by Amazon, hows about Canvas blocking AI agents?

Hi,

I'm reading that Amazon is blocking Meta's Muse from making purchases there. Could Instructure have Canvas instances block AI agents similarly - or, leave institutions with the ability to choose to block, etc. etc.? Limiting access tokens is great and all, but we're pretty sure all these web browsers with AI enabled, logging in to a Canvas instance through installed AI 'client' apps with browsers integrated, etc. have things slipping though the cracks. Yes, many people would like to know what Canvas roadmap looks like regarding blocking the use of third-party agentic AI tools to complete coursework. Each school can not tackle this in a silo. This needs to be a whole-system solution. If AI agents are completing coursework, students aren't and that undermines the learning process. I understand that they can still use other AI tools (such as generative AI) and you cannot block everything, but at least that requires some kind of action by the student, not just using the tool in autopilot mode. Just a quick google search shows how many educators are pivoting away from the LMS and back to in-person and paper tests. The tide is turning away from online learning as trust has been eroded. Companies need to prove that they are at least trying to keep AI agents from completing coursework.
