I was grading in canvas in one class. I switched to a different class and did some grading there too. I went back to the first class and realized the Grades button/link was missing. I don’t know how to get it back.
Hi @ValerieJensen1,
I would recommend just refreshing your browser. I don't know of a way the grades menu could easily disappear for a teacher, as even if it's disabled students it's still visible to teachers. I suppose it's possible someone changed your course role or adjusted permissions right as you were working, but that would seem like a pretty unlikely scenario.
Let us know if just reloading the course page happens to work for you!

I agree that a refresh of yoru system may be needed. This link is also helpful. 🙂

I'm new here, an instructor referred by Canvas support. I'm having trouble with my discussion boards as they're broken up into multiple pages. I'd like the option to make all of the discussion board posts fit on a single scrollable page. Please? Thank you!
Hi everyone… Has anyone else run into issues with SAML authentication not working, but only on their beta instance? Our production and test sites are fine, but we manage a number of different Canvas instances and every one of them that uses SAML authentication (with either Okta or Microsoft Entra) has not worked for a…
