Hi all,
Canvas has started doing something annoying and I don't know how to make it revert to its prior behavior. It's so odd I can't even figure out what to look for. It's a UI issue related to the display of entries in Modules. It used to be the module element menu (three vertical dots) used to be on the far right side of the entry, along with the check mark showing the element had been published so the display looked like this:
Now, however, all of my module entries look like this:
where the menu and published icon are on the left, making each module entry twice as high. It looks like garbage and I hate it. It's harder from a UI standpoint to access the menu, the green dot for published is distracting when trying to read the module entry title, and the row height is double what it was before (meaning less of the module shows on screen). I don't see any conceivable benefit for Canvas being set to do this.
Was this an intentional design choice by Instructure or did something get mis-set in my Canvas installation? If it's a setting, how can I change it back? I've tried clearing cache, going through settings, but nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Bill Asher
