I didn't see a post about this in my quick perusal of the forums, but I'm wondering if anyone is having issues with Canvas becoming unresponsive. I'm probably the most savvy person with Canvas at my school, so I don't have anyone I can ask. Over the past week I've been getting a variety of errors. Here are some of the things I'm experiencing:
Dragging items in Modules - Sometimes when I drag items in Canvas my browser will freeze up and I can't interact with the page. Other times I get an error stating the rearranging the item failed. Once this happens, I can't drag anything and have to refresh the page. Sometimes this fixes the error, other times it does nothing. Even when I can successfully drag something elsewhere, I can only do this once or twice before I can't rearrange anything.
Grading items in Speedgrader - When I tried to grade an item I had uploaded with the External LTI tool (it was a PowerPoint) I kept getting an error that the grade failed to update as I would switch between students. The grade would post for some students, but it didn't work for the vast majority.
Preview failing to load in Speedgrader - This same assignment failed to load the assignment for numerous students despite refreshing multiple times.
Gradebook not loading - When I access the Canvas gradebook, I get multiple errors. I get "There was a problem loading students", "There was an error fetching assignment groups data", "There was an error fetching modules", and "There was an error fetching assignment groups data". Nothing loads and I can't interact with the gradebook at all.
I'm using Firefox and my browser is up-to-date. Some of these issues are fixed when I switch to Microsoft Edge, but I would prefer to be able to use Firefox. Has anyone else been experiencing issues like this or have a solution?
