Canvas appears to have changed something this year with the intergration from Canvas to the Class Notebook using OneNote.
Last year we were able to have class notebooks linked to each course that would automatically add new students when they were enrolled into the Canvas course. This year when we log on we get the following message.
Due to service updates and security upgrades, it is no longer possible to automatically add students from your LMS as they access this notebook.
We now recommend using Class Notebook in your LMS through the new
Microsoft Education LTI app.
Our technological support officer has followed these steps to add the Microsoft Education LTI app to our courses, but this seems to create a seperate Class Notebook to the one most staff have already created for this year. Is there something here we are missing or is the old 'Class Notebook' app now effectively defunct?
