How do I copy one module from an older course to one that I am not facilitating?

There are a few different options for you to consider:

• If you are using a paid Canvas environment (where your Canvas URL looks something like: https://SchoolName.instructure.com where SchoolName is the name of your school), you could speak with your school's Canvas administrator and have him/her do this for you. Just make sure to provide the name of both courses, the course numbers, and the name of the module that needs to be copied.
• If you were to get access to the course that you are not facilitating, you could then use the Course Import Tool on your own to import just the specific module from your course to the other course. But, be careful about any FERPA concerns about getting access to another course that you are not teaching. This is why the first option is a good one. • Another option would be to use the "Send to…" option on the "Modules" index page. This essentially sends a copy of the module to another instructor at your school, and then that instructor has the option to add it to his/her course.
