Ungraded Checkpoint Discussions Not Showing

Hello,

I am using checkpoint discussions. When I see that I have some submissions in my To Do list to grade, I click on it, go into Speedgrader, and now have to search to see which students have posted or not. It used to designate which students had posts to grade so it was easy to just go to those students. Something has changed this semester because now you have to search all students and it is wasting time. Has anyone else noticed? Is this a known issue that is being worked on? If not, I may go back to regular discussions because this isn't worth it.

Hi Kate!

In an assignment, go to the upper left of page, click the "gear" icon —> Options —> Submission date. This SHOULD sort them by who has completed (sometimes, this doesn't "take").

I would like them to sort by last name/first, in the dropdown menu, which is more intuitive/in line with my gradebook, which is always last/first.

No, that doesn't really help because it isn't marking which ones are ready for grading so you would still have to click through them to see……I just went back to the old view for the gradebook because at least that one works.

Dropped Scores
I have Canvas set to drop the lowest quiz score, however, my students can only barely tell that the grade text is slightly grey when dropped. Can it have a tag like the "missing" and "exempt" ones in the student gradebook?
