UPGRADE: Full height assignment editor.

Question

I think it would be nice to have the option to make the WYSIWYG editor the full height (instead of a fixed position when you open the assignment editor). Then just have the editor tools stick to the top of the page as you scroll through the assignment. This would make is so that you don't have a tiny view to work with that you have to manually resize every time by dragging. Then, Canvas would remember your assignment editor preferences and expand to full screen so that you can easily scroll the assignment to make edits with the toolbar following along as you go.

I actually haven't been using that, so I'll give it a shot to see if it improves my work flow. I'll also add the idea to the collaborative roadmap so they can consider my idea as well.

I understand your request and concern, though it sounds to me like you are using the eight dots icon at the bottom right corner of the RCE (Rich Content Editor) to drag and expand it to a size that works for you.  You might already be aware, but for those that are reading this for the first time, there are two spots where you can easily expand the RCE to full screen with a click of the mouse:

One option is to click the "View" menu and then select "Fullscreen".  Or, you can just click the "Fullscreen" icon at the bottom right corner next to the eight dots.  You can then hit "Esc" on your keyboard to exit out of fullscreen mode.
