Inquiry About Student Assignment Feedback View

Has anyone noticed an issue in Speed Grader where, after leaving an overall comment on a student’s assignment, the comment appears on a separate white page instead of displaying in the comment box as usual?

I’ve seen this occur a few times recently and wanted to check if this is happening for anyone else or if it may be a setting or system issue. Any insight or confirmation would be appreciated.

We've experienced something similar with the grade details tray, where the instructor comment was in a white box covering most of the tray.

Instructure support suggested this might be the result of copying and pasting feedback, which may have brought in some html code that caused the display issues.

The solution we came up with was to enter SpeedGrader via a different student, hit the "next" button to get to the affected student, manually retype the comment as a new comment, then delete the old comment.
