Canvas is not persisting the Google LTI 1.3 connection when editing existing assignments. This issue has been confirmed across multiple users.

I apologize that a response was not provided sooner. Your post came through during a period of time when Canvas was preparing for a transition in the community space. If you are still needing help with this, this sounds like a bug, but it could be on Google's side or it could be on Canvas's side. If you have not already done so, please consider putting a ticket into Canvas Tech Support to investigate. You can do that by signing into Canvas, selecting Help on the left side, then selecting Report a Problem. If this has been resolved, please consider posting the solution in case anyone else were to have a similar issue and come across this post.
