Kaltura Capture never fully opens

My Kaltura has completely stopped working after my computer ran out of battery in the middle of a recording. When I try to open Kaltura Capture, it shows up but never finishes loading, so I can't actually click any buttons to start the recording. It is completely unusable now.

I've tried closing out of Kaltura and reopening it, even with task manager closing its background processes. I've even completely uninstalled Kaltura Capture and reinstalled it, and the problem persists, so I have no idea what to do now and would love some advice.

Hi @DrOlroyd,

While there are many schools/institutions (including mine) which have Kaltura integrated with Canvas, Kaltura is not actually an Instructure product, and it's probably going to be hard to get help here for that product.  You have already tried the most basic step of uninstalling and reinstalling the application, so it seems like you may need more advanced support on this.  I'd contact your school's Kaltura admin team, which will probably be in the eLearning, IT, or Digital Education departments to see if they can open a ticket with Kaltura for you on this.
