when i reopen an assignment for a student everyone else's grade disappears from the gradebook on canvas...how can i get the other students grades to reappear?
How are you reopening the assignment?
You might be "unassigning" it to everyone else, which would explain your case.
Starting with the assign to section:
Did you remove the "Everyone" and replace it with the new student?
If so, to fix it, you need to click the "+ Assign To" at the bottom, and then add "Everyone" again (with an "Until" date in the past).
