Changing Attendance

Hi,

Let's say I took attendance for a class meeting on July 4th. Several days later I realize that I need to change the attendance status for one student (let's call him Bob) from 'Absent' to 'Present.' Is it safe to go back and change Bob's attendance status in the Roll Call Attendance assignment or should this be done another way?

Hi there @TBaggenstos ,

I always say that it would be best to reach out to your school's canvas admin to ensure that the roll call attendance isn't connected to a SIS or somewhere else that could potentially mess something up on accident. However, if you're using the roll call attendance tool alone, and it's not connected to anything, you should be able to go back and change his attendance without any issues!
