I'm sorry that you're having a hard time resetting your password, we're here to help! If you wouldn't mind providing us with a little more information, this would allow us to provide you with our best insight. Are you using the free for teacher canvas version, or does your school pay for Canvas?
If your school uses Canvas and pays for their own Canvas Instance, you will need to reach out to your school's I.T. department, or Canvas Administrator for assistance with resetting your password. However, if you're using Free for Teacher, please click the reset password button, enter your email, then double click Reset Password. For some reason, double clicking is needed for resetting your password if you're using the traditional method of using Canvas to login.
Please let us know if this helps. If not, I will forward this to an admin of the free for teacher Canvas instance directly. However, if your school pays for their own canvas instance (the url would look like yourschool.instructure.com), then they will need to reset your password for you, and you'll have to reach out to the I.T. department at your school.
