Hi Canvas world, I was wondering if there is a setting or easy way to copy a course and have that course be published by default? Currently when I copy a course or import course content it resets the shell to unpublished.
Greetings @BenjaminShorb ,By default, all courses are unpublished and you must manually publish them. There is currently no way to have them automatically published, at least to my knowledge. When you create a new course, it remains unpublished by default so you're able to work on the course and give it your finishing touches before it is published for your students by you.
Sorry about that!Best,Noah
When in Speed Grader, under the "Grade by question" option, the Next Student and Previous Student buttons no longer work.
Anything that was published today is not showing up in Canvas for students. 9/11/26

Is it possible to lock down the Observer role even more tightly…
