I am not able to add an external URL to my quiz using the feature in the middle of that page. Does anyone know how to access this because I am afraid if I just put it in as a link, then they exit canvas and the lockdown browser.

From your question, I think you're a teacher creating a quiz. Is that correct?
If so, and you're using lockdown browser, I would recommend having all of the quiz content be in Canvas to reduce the chance of issues while taking the quiz. If you could explain more about the content you're trying to insert, someone may be able to provide some specific advice and guidance for it.
