I am literally stuck on how I get a friend to invite?❓️❓️❓️❓️❓️
@GabrielandKai_couple …
Are you asking about a friend taking the same course as you within your school's Canvas environment? Groups are typically set up by your instructor, and only other students that are in the same class as you would be able to access those groups. In addition, groups are typically used for things like group discussions, group assignments, etc. So, if you are asking how a friend (not taking the same course as you) could be a part of your group within your course, that usually isn't possible.
If you could please provide some more details on your request, that might help to give you more specifics. Thanks!
Hey @GabrielandKai_couple ,
In addition to what Chris explained, if your teacher did perchance enable student groups and if that's what you're working with, you can invite students to the student group during group creation or request for your instructor to add your friend to that group after you create it. Your friend needs to be enrolled in the same course. More information can be found here: https://community.instructure.com/en/kb/articles/661336-how-do-i-create-a-group-as-a-student
However, if your teacher created the groups, they are likely there for assignments / group work and are controlled at the teacher-level.
I hope this helps a bit too, Noah

Hi all, When uploading a SCORM package and outputting as an assignment, full screen works within the package. However when outputted as a page, it doesn't. Anyone found a getaround that isn't "just use the assignment option??"
Our institution is setting up 9 institutional outcomes in Canvas. Several of our outcomes have multiple skill sets within the rubric. For example: Critical Reading – Skill Set A Critical Reading – Skill Set B Critical Reading – Skill Set C Our understanding is that Canvas Outcomes data reports can provide the overall/total…
I am just curiousas to why there is not a field to enter a description for an outcome at the account level? Or at least edit the rating when you attach/link an account level outcome to a rubric. When you create a new criterion for a rubric, you enter a decription for a rating, but for an account level outcome.
We use a pre- post- model to measure learning which requires student-question matching from two time periods. This requires exporting quiz data to CSV to do the analysis properly. (I can get into more detail if needed.) The New Quizzes Student Analysis CSV export has repeated blocks of ItemID then columns related to that…
