I would like to make an assignment with MATLAB Autograder such that it has a time limit start when the students open it. Is this possible with assignments or only quizzes?
Hi @IsaacHclark,
Aside from setting available from, due, and available until dates, assignments do not have any kind of timer like quizzes. I think one of the reasons is actually because external tools (like MATLAB grader), would have no way to know a timer existed, nor would most be coded to work with a timer. External tools could build their own timers in right now if they wanted to, so this might actually be an idea to pass along to MATLAB if you're interested in it.
Hope this helps, even if it's not the info you were hoping to hear.

Canvas needs the same Speedgrader tools available for Canvas Discussions. Highlighting, point annotation, text comments, strikethrough, area annotations, etc. This would make instructor feedback easier.
Hi, all! My organisation is looking into using IgniteAI Grading Assistance for SpeedGrader to support assessment marking. I would like to ask users who have actually started using this feature within their organisations: What are the pros/cons of the tool? How did it change your work flow? Would you recommend it? Looking…
I've been using Canvas for at least 7 years. In that time I often use the gradebook to enter grades, while looking through speedgrader on a 2nd screen. I have a mix of Classic Quizzes and New Quizzes. When grading quizzes with essay type questions where the student has to type answers the gradebook shows a piece of paper…
