Module incomplete, despite multiple completion attempts

I'm taking a prep course for a state license, the course run by an extension of a state office. In order to proceed to the next module, you're required to watch an unskippable video with a one-answer question at the end of the video to confirm that you've watched it. I've been through this process twice and answered the question, yet my module still shows that video assignment as incomplete. I cannot progress further through the course modules until this is cleared, but multiple attempts (in an approved browser- Chrome v 120) have yielded the same results.

I've reached out to the organization running this course but they have yet been able to help me. What's my course of action here?

Nor I nor anyone else on these forums has access to your course and specific setup of module completion, so it is unlikely that we'll be able to answer your question directly beyond what you have already done by contacting the organization.

What I will say is that Canvas offers several ways of setting requirement completion.

There may be a "Mark as complete" button that you are missing, or you may need to get the question right in order to score the minimum mark for completing the assignment, etc.

There isn't a "video quiz" tool built into Canvas, so any "video quiz" assessments would be linked from an external video streaming tool.  It's likely that there is some problem passing your results from the external tool back into Canvas.

The one thing that causes problems with some types of video quizzes is leaving the video after the question, and not waiting until the video finished.  There may be a "submit" button which does not appear until the very end of the video.

Unfortunately, beyond that, there's not really an option for you to fix this yourself. The instructor or the course, or the organization running the course--will need to investigate, since they are they are the only ones that would have access to both the organization's Canvas course and the external video tool.
