trouble submitting a classic quiz

A student did not submit the quiz/mid-term on time (2 hours late) and then claimed it was the "cookies" issue or her chromebook.  Is this a possibility or is she scamming me?  All my other students had no problem with submission.  

Also, is there a way to see the time of her last answer?

It's not really possible to know what she means by a "cookies issue", unless there was some kind of connection problem between her Chromebook and Canvas.

You can see a record of exactly when she worked on each question by looking at the quiz log:  https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-view-a-quiz-log-for-a-student/ta-p/580 .  It's very useful for examining a student's activity during a quiz.
