how i put assignments on dashboard in canvas

I'm assuming you are a teacher and want to have the assignments appear on a student's to-do list or the list view of their dashboard. This will automatically happen in Canvas as long as you enter a due date for the assignment (or other graded item like a discussion or quiz) and have the item published. It's the due date, not the available from or available until dates, that is the key for this to all work as intended.
