How do I sign in to The Canvas Black Board when its showing Sign in Error?

Canvas and Blackboard are two different Learning Management Systems (LMSs). I wonder if you actually mean that you are trying to sign into the Canvas Dashboard ... which is the first screen you would see after logging in to Canvas. Every school that uses Canvas as their LMS usually has their own process to sign in, and so it would be best for you to reach out to the University of York's technical support folks to help you get logged in. I did visit the University of York's website, and I found this page which might be of help to you:
