How do you start cleaning up a copy of a copy of a copy?
Hello, colleagues! I'm looking for strategies to help faculty clean up courses that have been copied multiple times, and now have outdated and broken content. Is there a "best" way to get started with a fresh version of a course, besides starting from scratch? Thanks for your insights!

Textbook Integration Policies?
Hello! I am looking to see if anyone's institution uses a specific textbook integration request policy (e.g. how many days prior to the start of a term must requests be submitted, etc.)? Whatever you have, I'd love to hear it. We are looking at how to best manage textbook integration requests from faculty members. Thanks!

How big can you go?!
Hi there, Right now we have a class of of 840 students with about 70 assignments. Let's multiply that to be 58,800. Checkpoints and Availability
For anyone using checkpoints in discussions: Is there a way to set an "available until" date on the initial "reply to topic"? That is, not just set a due date for making a first post, but make it so students can't do that after the due date? Having students able to start a discussion assignment after the due date for the…

Why no longer able to reuse comments when using rubrics?
I was frustrated today when I came to grade an assignment I had set up with a rubric. I've been using that particular assignment/rubric for several years, with no issue, copying my Canvas courses from semester to semester. Even better, I had crafted some great comments for students, multiples of whom tend to make the same…

Can students edit but not delete their own discussion posts?
In discussions, can students be able to edit their posts but not delete their own discussions? In the Course Settings, there is currently an option to allow "Let students edit or delete their own discussion replies." I don't want students to delete a post, because then they may inadvertently delete any replies to their…

Using column-count CSS?
Does Canvas support the css attribute column-count? I know work-arounds using bootstrap and tables. Column-count is simpler. I can't tell if I'm doing something wrong or it's yet another thing that's not allowed. Related: Is there a list of what isn't allowed? Or even what is?

Autograde Discussions
Hi all, is there a way to automatically assign a grade (points, letter or C/NC) to a discussion when students write a response - I'm thinking a feature similar to the graded survey feature in the old quizzes? Thanks!

How to drag and drop across multiple months with Calendar
Everything says change the mini-calendar and then take it to the new month, but that does not work. The mini-calendar and main calendar sync to the same month.
