Using column-count CSS?

Does Canvas support the css attribute column-count?

I know work-arounds using bootstrap and tables. Column-count is simpler. I can't tell if I'm doing something wrong or it's yet another thing that's not allowed.

Hi @tengrrl,

I do not have an answer for you about that specific CSS attribute but https://community.instructure.com/en/kb/articles/387066-canvas-html-editor-allowlist contains a list of HTML that is allowed. I do not believe that there is a similar allowlist for CSS.

The bottom of that article has the allowed style (CSS) properties, so it should be a pretty complete guide to what can be done in the Canvas editor by teachers/students and other similar roles. Admins can use the theme editor to upload account-wide CSS and JavaScript, which doesn't have restrictions (as far as I know), but that's kind of a different use than I think we're talking about here…
