Key Information

The copyrighted CASEL SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) Framework publication includes five areas of competence called the CASEL 5. These areas are:

Self-awareness
Self-management
Social awareness
Relationship skills
Responsible decision-making

Idaho and South Carolina indicate use of CASEL.
