Why is there no feature within Canvas that would allow to export differentiation tags from a course?

When downloading a tags-file from a course it doesn't match the tags in the UI of that course.

Most teachers find it easier to create tags in the UI than in a csv-file. When the same tag set is needed in courses with over 300 students, it would be great if the same tag set could be easily downloaded from one course and uploaded in others.

Also, to respond to your question, in my view the differentiation tag feature is new(ish). That may help explain perceived capability gaps.
