Way to grade without a student submission?

Hi all,

I'm at a medical school and we grade students on how well they can perform a doctor's visit. This activity is graded by faculty watching in real time with a checklist of required elements. Is there anyway in Canvas to have an assignment with the checklist that the faculty completes?

There are a couple of ways you could :

No submission with rubric - set with the criteria for the checklist and the relevant grading criteria;

Checklist upload with or without rubric - students can upload a physical checklist which is annotated and graded during the activity

I would think a no submission assignment with a rubric set for grading would work?
