Course Analytics for student across courses?

I'm looking for a way to run a course analytics report on a specific student (or better yet batch this for a group of students) but be able to pull data from all of their currently enrolled courses. Is there a way to accomplish this in Canvas, or does this require a separate Canvas reporting tool?

@jkunkel1 - I've created such a dashboard Using Canvas Data and visualization software (e.g., Tableau and now Oracle Business Intelligence). This takes a fair amount of time and resources. If you have these tools, I would be glad to help you get started.

Another option is Canvas' Admin Analytics. This uses the same Canvas Data sources and is available via your admin panel, if enabled. Here you are able to filter for published courses by course start date. The results include charts that enable you to drill in so as to further view details. For example, selecting the DFW bars will list the students, their SIS User ID, average score. But additional details and context (i.e. course, assignments missing, etc.) are not included by default - you have to drill in to see the data for each student, which takes time. And a more refined tool is Intelligent Insights. This is an add on service and comes with an early warning type dashboard called Students in Need of Attention.

What exactly are you trying to prove/disprove or report on? Course analytics is a big net that allows the small fish to escape.

Ah, my favorite question, "What are you trying to accomplish?" In an ideal world, I would like various admins (ard/or advisors) be able to pull a weekly academic summary of a student that includes a list of missing assignments, grades that have been posted, and perhaps a list of things that have been submitted. We have some students where we are manually collecting this information from faculty on a weekly basis, and there must be a better way to address this need. And if it were easier, this could be a good family introduction to Canvas viewing for families.
