Why can't we add accommodations from the People menu?

I know there's a guide* on how to make Time Adjustments through the Moderate tab. We really should be able to do that through the People screen as well. Only going the the Moderate tab is counter-intuitive as well as a bunch of unnecessary extra clicking. And what if I want to go ahead and enter accommodations before I make the first quiz of the year?

I agree this would be great. Or at least a "Batch" setting to put in the same accommodations for all selected quizzes. It's very tedious to put these in one student and one quiz at a time.

There is something like a "batch" setting that allows you to set accommodations for all of a student's quizzes that are "New Quizzes." "Classic Quizzes" has no such option.

When in the "moderate" area for any New Quiz, click on the student's name to set accommodations for all of their New Quizzes. Click on the pencil icon to set accommodations for just that one quiz.

I also agree with the original poster that being able to see and set accommodations under the people tab would make a lot of sense.

I have Canvas set to drop the lowest quiz score, however, my students can only barely tell that the grade text is slightly grey when dropped. Can it have a tag like the "missing" and "exempt" ones in the student gradebook?
