I uploaded a power point to my CANVAS course and my student told me that since they don't have power point on their PC, they cannot open the power point. What should my student do in order to open the powerpoint?
This is interesting. Canvas will preview the PowerPoint slides directly on the page. No need for PowerPoint to be utilized. Tell the student not to download the file to open it. Just click on the file in your Canvas Module. The preview of the presentation should spin up automatically.

When you are creating a quiz and/or also reviewing a quiz in Canvas after the class has taken it, the questions aren't numbered so after you get past the first few questions, there is no way to even tell what number you are on. Can someone change that?

We are all familiar with the standard Course Calendar, where assignment due dates are automatically added.
