Hello. I do not have an assignment tab on my canvas. How can I fix this issues?
Hello @CatherineOliver ...
I am assuming that you are a student? If this is true, your instructor may have things configured in your Canvas course where the "Assignments" course navigation link on the left-hand side of your Canvas course is hidden from you and your classmates. However, this *might* not be much of an issue if your instructor is using the "Modules" page. Since I cannot see the contents of your course, hopefully your instructor has listed the assignments you are looking for on the "Modules" page. Hopefully, your instructor has added those assignments to each of the modules in the course where they are most relevant (for example, by topic that you are covering).
If you are an instructor, however, you might see the "Assignments" index page on the left-hand course navigation menu with a crossed-out eye icon next to it. This means that:
If you are an instructor, and if you want to make the "Assignments" link visible to your students, you'll want to click on your course "Settings" link in the left-hand course navigation. Then, select the "Navigation" tab. Ensure that your "Assignments" button is listed in the top set of links vs. the bottom set of links. You can read more about how this works at:
How do I manage Course Navigation links?
And, if you need to publish any of your assignments, here's a Guide on that as well:
How do I publish or unpublish an assignment as an instructor?
I hope I've covered the main scenarios here since I'm not quite sure of your role at your school. Hopefully the information above will be of some help.
Sing out if you have any other questions about this. Thanks!

I am currently teaching a high school Spanish course, and many of my assignments use the fill-in-the-blank question type in new quizzes. The problem that I'm encountering is when a question requires a special character, such as an accented vowel (examples include: á Ó or ü) or the special letter ñ (which is a different…
Has anyone found gaps in their course analytics ? I'm currently seeing missing last view date, last participation date, and participations at overall course level, even though the same data is present at individual week and student level. Am also seeing truncated asset counts ie we are seeing only the global header counts,…
I have a new React + Flask webapp. It has its own login for users to start using the app. I have added this as an external tool in Canvas. What I want initially is to see of canvas users can start using the webapp without having to login if they click on the external tool link in a canvas course. I have 2 methods…
