Big Blue Button participant unable to see shared Google slides presentation

I had a new class today for which I shared a Google slides presentation, and I had one student who could not see the slides. He said it appeared as a green screen for him. When I shared other browser tabs, he could see them, just not Google slides. I have not had this issue with Big Blue Button before. Any suggestions?

Allow Observers to View Instructor Comments
It would be very beneficial for observers (parents) if they could view instructor comments. If they had access to this information, they could better understand the grading of individual assignments and better understand the errors that their student made.
