Question

I'm a "community member", but I still can't submit ideas; when I tried, I got redirected to https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/forums/postpage/board-id/canvas-ideas/search-before-post-mode/true with message "You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action. Click your browser's Back button to continue. Return to my original page"

I think I have the status required to submit ideas:

"To create a new idea in the Instructure Community, you must be ranked as a Member or above"

Hi @EzraMorrison thanks for posting and apologies for things not working like they should here in the Community. There are rare cases we've seen where, like you ran into, you have the required rank and permissions to post and for some reason the backend system of our Community runs into an issue where it thinks you don't have the right permissions. You did nothing wrong and you didn't miss anything. It was a random bug during one of our busiest seasons. It looks like your idea was posted and I took it out of automatic spam queue as well. Hopefully you don't run into any further issues, but if you do, please reach out so we can help you out!
