How to find district name given a name or account which can be fetched from LMS.
Hi @104888845047250,
I'm not sire there is going to be a "universal" way to do what you're asking, as different schools/districts will set up Canvas in various ways. Even putting that aside though, can you tell us more about your role and what access to Canvas you have? Are you a teacher, an admin, a 3rd party tool provider (if so, do you require your clients to set up a developer API key), etc? That info might help people here in the community here at least suggest some options that might work in some scenarios.

The most recent quizzes and question banks (including renames) are not showing up as options in the Course Import Tool. As I was creating a new quiz in one course (Classic), I went to add the questions from the Question Bank, but what I needed wasn't there. I went back to the other course to make sure everything was…
These are feature suggestions. If there's a better place to put this post, please move it/let me know. Analytics We can see total time spend in the entire course, page views and participations already for each item. If we could see total time spent with each item, it would be very useful to gauge student actions in the…
In the wake of the recent Canvas security incident, many higher‑education instructors are rethinking how they protect their course materials and ensure continuity for students if the LMS becomes unavailable. A common question we’re hearing is how to effectively back up courses “just in case,” especially with an eye toward…
