I am relatively new to Canvas Admin. Wondering what the best way to add Parent Observers to our classes would be? We roster Aeries to Canvas through OneRoster, does not look like it is an option to include Parent information as part of that API. Would be have to allow Open Registration for Observers, have teachers invite…
I want to create my course or anything else in Canvas Commons and publish it for Commons, but I can't. Please help me 😭
Another classic for the…"Canvas Is The Most Intentionally Passive-Aggressive Piece of Software Ever Written / Nobody Does Weaponized Incompetence Better Than Canvas" I give you… You click on Assignments that "Need Grading" and it takes you to the assignmen…but then forces you to sort for the assignments that need…
Hi There, We are in the process of transitioning to Canvas this year and were wanting to connect with any other MYP schools to see how you setup Assignment and grading under your modules. Or you could guide us to any resources you may have.

I'm currently trying to do a quiz on Canvas but it says the service is unavailable due to maintenance. How long will the site be down?
Imagine you are a middle-schooler, and that "missing" button is the only thing that will get you to even somewhat begin to care about whether or not you do your work. Your teacher has warned you a million times not to ask her if something will be graded, but because of the years you have spent in the broken American…
I am the principal and we just engaged with a school for some On Demand courses who uses Canvas. We provide students with an iPad and now the school parter is saying that videos in Canvas are not compatible with iPads. Here is the error my students are getting. I am an observer for the course. Any ideas on how to fix this…
Is there a setting in Canvas that opens up more/less for parental access? I saw a parent account this weekend where they could see only 'Assignments' for some courses, but 'Assignments' and 'Front Page' for others. Does the parent have to pair with their student for each class, or just once as the student?
