It would be very beneficial for observers (parents) if they could view instructor comments. If they had access to this information, they could better understand the grading of individual assignments and better understand the errors that their student made.

Is there a setting in Canvas that opens up more/less for parental access? I saw a parent account this weekend where they could see only 'Assignments' for some courses, but 'Assignments' and 'Front Page' for others. Does the parent have to pair with their student for each class, or just once as the student?
As a developer I want to use the API to get information about a course so we can administrate our courses. We have some courses where students can enroll with the "hidden link" (self enrollment). But i can't manage to get the self_enrollment_code from the API? Or does an developer API not have the right permissions?
