Am struggling understanding mixed constructions in simple language, i have read it over and over but still its not sticking in my head.

Hello. This sounds like a class specific question. You posted on a community forum for users of Canvas that is made up of community members around the world. We will not have access to your course and would be unable to assist with helping understanding the work you need to complete.

There are two options to consider:

* Reach out to your teacher or classmates directly.
* If your teacher has turned on the Discussions option in your course and given the ability for students to create discussions, that will only be seen by your class. Your post reads as if this is what you were trying to do, just in the wrong location.
